The play is a snapshot of the lives of several suburban youth who have resigned themselves to an aimless existence until their formerly geeky classmate, now an accomplished musician, returns home for a visit. It runs January 10 - 12.
For Jeff, the protagonist, this is the end of the world: an endless cycle of pizza, beer, sex, and Oreos, while hanging around outside convenience stores and he wouldn't change a thing. Jeff and his crew talk about Sarajevo, the Pope, AIDS, and Sesame Street as a way to pass the time until the girls show up. For all their philosophizing, however, Tim the Air Force drop-out acts out in terrifying violence against the Pakistani convenience store owner who only wants them off his property.
